Jackie Buxton

My blog started life as a tale of woe

and silver linings along the rocky path to

publication but I quickly realised that there were

many, many other people doing this already, so much better than I was. Now, I'd say that the majority of

posts centre on one of my many and varied mishaps

– I am a little accident prone (I blame it on the fairies in my brain with whom I like to go 'away' a lot)

– with the odd more serious foray into ill health, hopefully with a thin covering of humour.  I also

try to keep up to date with events and book signings

on there.

I was taxed to talk about a time I'd taken a chance by the prolific blogger, Rachel Gilbey, as part of the Chances Fortnight in her busy book blog:

Many thanks to Sincerely Book Angels,

a mother and daughter blog sharing sincere and spoiler free book reviews and interviews. I was asked a few questions about My Favourite Things – more tricky than you might think!

Some of you may know that I am a 'more is less' kind of girl when it comes to writing and a 2,000 word blog post comes much more easily to me, than a 200 one. Wonderful writer and fascinating lady, Angelena Boden, asked me for a few words on writing a memoir and, well, let's just say she decided to give it a blog post all of its own.
